Remaining within the Confused.com brand we believe gives consumers better confidence to continue with purchases and leads to better conversions.

Direct Life and Confused.com pioneered the first opportunity to purchase a life product from a comparative service, taking into account a customer's unique disclosures, using our 'Buy Now' technology.

Trinity are a specialist insurer for the Armed Forces who aim to build long term relationships with the military community by providing outstanding products that are based on price, service, understanding and integrity.

They teamed up with Direct Life in 2013, designing and building a bespoke website that catered for the Life and critical illness needs of the Armed Forces and their families all around the world.

Direct Life provide Trinity with the ability to measure and track quotes and applications whilst also processing the cases on their behalf with the selected insurers.

Direct to Customer business models

We want to make understanding and buying competitive life insurance as simple as possible for all your customers.  All our systems and services are available on a fully branded, co-branded or Direct Life own branded basis.  Our quotation engines and websites are designed, built and maintained by our own in-house team.

We are flexible with our approach to new builds and can create bespoke fully branded solutions or supply you with a link to our standard quote & buy engine and website.

If you’re going for a bespoke solution, you can choose;

• The Insurer(s) you’d like to quote on your website – it could be a single insurer, whole of market or a panel of insurers.

• Whether you want your customers to interact directly through your website (hosted by us) or if you want your staff or yourself to get quotes from our quote engines.

• The pricing you would like your customers to receive, or we can manage your pricing for you to agreed KPI’s.

• If you would like a fully branded website, co-branded or to have a website in one of our own brands.

• Whether you’d like us to manage the administration of your applications, or would like to manage this yourselves.

Full online application
We have developed our own medical and lifestyle question set in conjunction with the insurers. Each question set is unique to the insurer, and in some cases are dynamic. This allows us to manage the customer through the journey, to application and on risk as quickly as possible.

Short online application
Complete our short application form and we’ll call you or your customer back when it’s convenient to them. Call times can be scheduled online using our online booking system or through our Sales team. The full underwriting call will take approximately 30 minutes, and a call is required for each applicant.

Over the telephone
Your customers can call our dedicated Sales team to get their quote and apply. Our experienced team will guide them through the application questions there and then, or schedule a suitable time.
